The unrivalled genius of Leonardo Da Vinci is a constant source of inspiration. A new exhibition, dedicated to this incredible visionary, has just launched at the Science Museum, which takes visitors on a journey inside his mind. Showcasing beautiful wooden reconstructions of some of his most iconic inventions, such as the Parachute, Diving Apparatus or Aerial Screw (aka helicopter), this exhibition is a truly enlightening experience and is sure to inspire everyone, big and small. Book tickets here.

For Little Tigers.

  Spend the day at the brilliant London Zoo, just like our friend and Little Editor Jasper did a couple of weeks ago. Being a huge fan of tigers, Jasper spent a long time observing them but also enjoyed seeing spiders, meerkats and giraffes. Book tickets here.

  The fabulous Museum of London/Docklands Museum are running a series of workshops for half term, all dedicated to heroes, whether of the super kind or the unsung ones. There is even a hero-inspired dance workshop! Details here.

For Little Book Lovers.

 

 

Storystock is a travelling story-telling circus and for this half term, they are regaling us with a three-day literature festival at the Bush Theatre. The programme includes a Myth Marathon show (26 myths in 26 minutes!), a song writing workshop and much more. Book tickets here
